


Heather has become renowned around the world for her successful work with athletes in all aspects of sport. As a result she has been a guest on podcasts in Sweden, Dubai, USA and the UK and also asked to lecture at sports conferences across the UK, Europe, USA and Canada.
Heather was asked by Athletic Coach, Author and CEO Justin Kavanaugh to speak at the Professional Power Summit, held at the Sport and Speed Institute, in February 2018. The presenters were an all-female collective and Heather lectured on a ‘Holistic Approach to Athletes Recovery’ to various coaches, trainers and physical therapists.

During her time at the Sport and Speed Institute Coach Kavanaugh asked Heather to diagnose and treat a number of Amercian football athletes who all went on to receive professional contracts in the National Football League (NFL) shortly after.
In April of 2018 Heather attended the annual Active Release Techniques® (ART®) instructors meeting that hosted instructors from all over the world. The conference consisted of a variety of topics from new and evolved protocols to live case studies.

During this particular conference Heather received the very prestigious ART® Instructor of The Year Award for her hard work organising, negotiating contracts, promoting and teaching courses in the UK and Europe.

In July 2018 Heather assisted Dr Ken Kinakin in two presentations on upper body weight training injuries and lower body weight training injuries at the Irish Strength Institute (ISI) in Malahide, Ireland.
Heather lectured on the power of Active Release Techniques® (ART®) including a live demonstration of how ART® fits into a personal training session. She also presented on the importance of glute strength with her self-created ‘Pearson Method’ to personal trainers, physical therapists and strength coaches.
In the autumn of 2018 Heather was asked to present at the Society of Weight-Training Injury Specialists (SWIS) conference in Toronto, Canada. SWIS is an education conference focused on the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of weight training injuries and is the largest conference of its kind in the world.

Heather lectured on upper body weight training injuries for men and women lifters and also took part in a female-only focus group and Q&A presentation about all aspects of weight-training (physical therapy, injuries, training techniques) involving other health professionals in the industry.
On the second day of the conference Heather hosted a presentation of one of her mentors, Dr Leahy, the founder of ART®. Heather assisted Dr Leahy on stage during his live demonstrations of ART®.
Television and radio presenter and producer, Jasmine Dotiwala requested Heather to come on her show called ‘The Scene’ in June 2019. The show is focussed on London’s diverse culture and emerging talent. Heather was asked to talk about her book ‘Back Pain Free – Put an end to your suffering with the Pearson Method’. Heather was interviewed live on BBC Radio London which included a Q&A session at the end.
In November 2019 Heather was one of six lecturers asked to present at the exclusive Strength Sensei Mentoring Conference which was to honour the late, world-renowned Strength Coach, Charles Poliquin, one of her mentors, a year after his passing.

Heather lectured on her self-created process called the ‘Pearson Method’ that included a live demonstration of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation exercises which she had developed following principles she had learnt from studying many courses with Charles Poliquin. Heather was also involved in a group Q&A session with all the presenters at the end of the conference.
Heather was due to present at SWIS 2020 but due to Covid-19 the conference was cancelled. However, Dr Ken Kinakin interviewed a group of health professionals, including Heather, via zoom calls on the topic of bridging the gap between physical therapists and coaches/personal trainers.
Heather became a member of a charity called Headway - the brain injury association after she was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in 2016 whilst in the US.
In 2021 Heather became an associate of their West London focus group discussing ideas for TBI members and voluntarily delivered a number of presentations to fellow brain injury survivors via zoom conference. The lectures included; 'food and nutrition for the brain', 'gut health for the brain' and 'how to cope with pain'. The lectures received high praise from the members as well as staff at Headway.
